My Story
Kimberly Pisk, OTR, CHT, is originally from Long Island, New York. She graduated from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut in 1991. Harrisonburg, Virginia became her home in fall of 1991 when she married her husband Eric Pisk.
Kimberly combined her academic achievements with over 4000 hours of hand experience to earn her certification in Hand Therapy (CHT). This was achieved after she passed the National Board examination in 2007.
CHT’s are dedicated professionals who have a commitment to meet the highest standards of their profession. The hand and arm have an extremely intricate anatomy and complexity. Kim is dedicated to the rehabilitation of the hand and arm which requires in-depth knowledge and ongoing continuing education in up-to-date techniques. She has been working for 23 years as an occupational therapist who truly believes that one’s hands are the key to function. She is committed to helping each individual reach their maximum level of independence and returning a patient to their fullest life style possible.
Kim loves being a soccer Mom for her daughter Taylor and son Jack. She enjoys vacations at Smith Mountain Lake and outdoor activities with her family.
